Walking trousers

Lowe Alpine Houdini Pant. A superbly light pair of walking trousers made from Lowe Alpine's Desertwave fabric (it boasts all the feel of cotton, but with the durability of nylon). These are very comfortable, well cut pants which are fairly loose, giving you plenty or flexibility. They pack down into a very small bundle, ideal for rucksack stowage when the weather's right for shorts. They are also very quick drying, should you find yourself caught out in a shower. The Houdini Pants have an elasticated waist with belt and draw cords on the ankles. There are two hip pockets and one pocket at the back with loop closure. Choice of colours. Highpoint Action and Adventure. Lightweight combat-style trousers in a cotton/nylon mix which gives the material a bit of a sheen which you wouldn't expect with cotton alone. Very comfortable with an adjustable waist and drawcords around the ankles. The hip pockets are too small to be of much use, but the leg ones have plenty of space and all have button closures.
